Good Morning World!! Now let's take a nap....

This past week has been crazy work wise. Way too many hours that I am not used to. I am so tired.

I got a pedometer and I have really been working on the walking this week. This is a big deal in my world because I am the worlds worst exerciser!!

My tops are beginning to look too big. I have a great friend who will look at me and say *okay, that top is too big.* ~grins really big~ When she does that, I put it into the donate box. I decided to shop around for a few new ones yesterday. I KNEW not to! I was too tired but I did it anyway. I got disappointed to find that, if I go down a size then all my stupid around the middle fat shows and I hate that!! Immediately all the negative self talk started. I left and decided that I will just look again later.

I must say I was very pleasantly surprised to get on the scales today to see that I lost 2.4 LBS!! This coming week is going to be almost as bad time wise but the loss makes feel like I can face it. I went to the farmers market and the grocery store and I am getting ready for the week.




I am halfway to my goal weight!! I got out of the 180's! YEAH!!!!!

  8. Mindy, way to go, I am so glad for you and that all of this is working well... I will go look at the garage sale items, and hey you know what, I took my very particular sis in law to a Goodwill store and she found blouses, so maybe try stores like that since you will be losing more and just donating them as they get too big!

    hey, just wanted you to know that i am cooking chicken in a Longaberger Stoneware covered dish and hoping it works the same as your pampered chef dish...it is making all kinds of noises right now....i am using 2 breast instead of 3 and i rubbed veg. oil on it since i didnt have olive oil and i used lemon pepper since i didnt have your fancy chicken rub....so we shall see in a little while how it turns out....
