WHO IS WITH ME ON THIS??

I woke up tired and grumpy and then the morning did not get off to a good start. You can see why here. So I am slamming things around and trying to rethink what I need to do and thinking at least it is the last day of the month and then it hits me.....

TODAY IS OUR RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS DAY!!!

It snuck up on me!!
So, I am going to add a day!

I proclaim today and tomorrow our Random Acts of Kindness days!! You can do big or small acts because anything is good. This sums it up: Today you are going to make your little piece of the world just a little better....one person at a time.

Let me share something with you to help you to understand that no act is a small act. Your comments here and on my Win Lose or Blog page are RAKs to me. They encourage me each and every day. I am sure that leaving a comment does not cost you a penny or even eat up much of your day but it DOES make a difference!

The only thing I ask is that you let me know the number of your acts so that I can add buttons to the button jar. I will update the number when I have a final count tomorrow night so YOU can play along with me! We are currently at 63!
!

SHOW ME THE BUTTONS!

  1. I try to be kind all the time, Mindy, but just for you, today, I will look for the opportunity to perform a specific RAK. I will get back to you on it!

  5. I was gonna stay home today due to the rain, but now I have a reason to go out for coffee. More random chances for kindness out there than here. Thanks. I will be posting my number later. Kisses again.

  6. My favorite RAK is just smiling and saying "Hi" on my exercise walks - I do that like at least 20 times a week. Some people really light up. We all know a smile is worth a thousand m&m's right?

  7. That is a really good RAK Dij! I did not know what the exchange rate was with a smile. Nice to know it is that many M & Ms!

  8. You are such a nerd. But you are my nerd. And I love you more than any nerd has every loved her Mom nerd before.

I am leaving a comment on here, cause WLOB won't let me. Blasphemy. Anywho, hahaha, ~sings~ my brother ate your lunch.

IDK what today will hold for me. We have our home study, so prolly won't be leaving the house. So does that count for the great good? I am having a home study done so that I can save little people from bad people? Mull it over, get back to me.

  10. Hey - I thought of you last night because I was coming home from work last night (11:23pm) and the girl next to me at the light had a headlight out. So I waved at her and got her to roll her window down and told her. She seemed happy.... Does that count? Too bad it wasn't a half hour later, then I could count it for today and I would be done :)

  14. Ok today I told a lady at the pool I go to that I would print up a knitted pattern for her since she was saying that she was having a hard time figuring out how to do the neck area, and I also said that she can get free patterns on the internet, something she did not know...so does this count as a RAK?

    I like this idea Mindy!

  22. Hi Mindy! 1. yes, you did know I have an online store: chandeluse.com, and I am too stupid to figure out the button.
    2. How did you get those cute stores to advertize? all I get is google slop, that no one in their right mind would ever click on.
    3. today I will: walk the baby next door, cut the hub's hair even though he has been giving me the silent treatment all day, and writing back to you.

  23. not only did I not kill Dave today, I even made him egg salad, exactly the way he likes it, despite the fact all the while I was doing it he was criticizing the way I was peeling
the eggs.... plus the 3 other things.
Probably more, I just don't count them. :)
