THINGS THAT ARE ROCKING MY WORLD RIGHT NOW

LOST always rocks my world but OMG!! Did you see the season finale last night??? Blew me away! What did you think of it??

I am loving driving to work with the window down.

This stuff is awesome!! The febreze in this is awesome! Makes the house smell good while I am doing laundry. Especially good for a 15 year old he man child's clothes.

Have y'all tried this? The Cheddar is out of the world!! It taste JUST LIKE cheddar popcorn. I swear. I could not find a pic of the cheddar so I had to make due with a pic of the sour cream and onion that I have not tried. I could have taken a pic of my actual bag but then y'all could see how much I had already eaten out of it.

We have a bonus program here at work for our clients that are actually working their community service hours. If they are in compliance, they get to bring in food items for our local food pantry. Each officer has a different food item that their people bring in. My clients bring in peanut butter. I just love how it looks all colorful in my bin. LOL...can you see the smiley face?

I am in LOVE with my new crock pot!! I have found the most awesome blog called A Year of Crockpotting and have tried a lot of her recipes and they is SSOOOOO GOOOD!! Bebo and I made her garlic baked potatoes the other day. We could have just taken the lid off and ate them straight out of the pot with our forks. SO easy and SO good.

Drive up menu at the Sonic. I have been diet coke free for a little over 2 months now. I did have about 1/3 of one a few weeks ago and it did not taste right at all!! So now I am ordering ice tea. mmmmmmmmm Sonic ice!!

I have told tons of you the news already but I am now making it official. I am BUYING A HOUSE!!! I am excited and scared to death all at the same time. We are having to do tons of work on it but I believe that it will be worth it in the long run. Keep sending your money karma thoughts my way. Bebo and I were so excited when we opened the paper the other day and the SOLD was on our house in the ad!! We will close on the house on June 27th. I WILL HAVE MY OWN CRAFT ROOM!!!
So what is rocking your world right now???

Catching Up

I was tagged by Deb!
Rules:The rules of the game get posted at the beginning. Each player answers the questions about himself or herself. At the end of the post, the player then tags five people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

Ten years ago:1998. I was 35 years old and had been out of college for just 2 years. Babygator was 16 and Bebo was 5. We had the world's best neighbors. They were an older couple that just took us under their wing. Babygator was learning to drive and would drive up and down and up and down the drive way. World's best neighbor would come over and ask to drive up and down the drive way. She was so proud. When Bebo lost his first tooth, they made a big deal out of it and took pics. We were trying hard to keep our heads above water financially but life was sweet. I was still adjusting to my job and to my supervisor that did not care for me. I cried a lot. Who would have ever believed that she and I would eventually become bestest of friends.

Five things on today's "to do" list:
1. Go to work
2. Get some boxes
3. Take stuff to GoodWill
4. Field trip to Brownfield so I will need to get a buddy
5. Get rid of some more stuff.

Three bad habits:DANG! Hard to narrow those down
1. I talk too much. I know y'all find that so hard to believe
2. I talk way too loud
3. I can get paranoid in 0 to 60 seconds

Five places I've lived:
1. Clarendon Texas
2. Krum Texas
3. Plainview Texas
4. Post Texas
5. Decatur Texas....do you sense a Texas theme?

Things I'd do if I was a billionaire:
1. Buy everyone in my family a house
2. Establish a hefty scholarship for single moms going back to college
3. Establish some sort of a trust fund for my 2 children and my nephew
4. Give away a lot of money to worthy charities
5. Host a BIG blogger meet up

Five jobs I've had:
1. Youngest pink lady in a Denton hospitals history
2. Probation Officer
3. Insurance Agent
4. Volunteer
5. Mom

WHO WANTS PIZZA FOR LUNCH?

This is one of the newest cows in fiberglass cow city! Skittish!! This poor cow is skittish! First off, they paint her smurf blue. That color of blue is just not slimming and really hard for a girl to wear. I tried to approach her but she really was not having it. She muttered something about having a really bad day and pizzas being $5.00 a piece if you buy three of more. I just gently circled her and talked really sweet and low and she started to calm down a little bit. She even took the time to pose for me.

She was hesitant to let me take pics of her udders. I assured her that her pics were not going onto some seedy cow porn site.

We talked for a bit and she is actually a very lovely cow once she calmed down. She told me that she is new here and has not made a lot of friends yet. She really does not like all of the traffic since she has to stand so very close to the street. She had heard about the Dairy Queen Cow and the Spectacle cow meeting their untimely demises. Vehicular cowslaughter was what she called it. She was really getting into the conversation when suddenly a pizza delivery guy came shooting out the door yelling *30 minutes or it's free! Get out of my way! They better not have any damned coupons!*

He jumped in his car, slammed it into reverse and careened out of the parking lot barely missing Domino. Now I totally understand the fear in her eyes.

who will have extra cheese and mushrooms on hers please.

Little Bits and Pieces

Thank you all so much for everything you have said about my Etsy shop. I have sold 3 items so far (thanks to my wonderful blogging friends) and I am working on getting some more stuff into the store. I am just a little pressed for time cause I have a *really big project* that I am working on. If there is anything special you want to see in the shop, just drop me a line and let me know. Especially if you want a certain color.

I got my swap package from Leah!!! Look at all the wonderful stuff she sent to me!

She also included little stickers on each and the items to explain the use of my initial *M*. Included were: mini stripes candle, mug with fruits, Marquis Personal notebook, make-up bag, magenta plus other color stickers, message sticky notes, monkey purse, multicolors purse, more paisley in the bandanna (see! she reads my blog!), magic socks (now who of you out there own magic socks?!?!?! I didn't think so! And they are PINK!), major brand soap (smells yummy), Merican (you have to say that like George Bush would) greetings care bear purse and Matching scrapbook scissors cause she got a pair too! Did I score or what?!?!? Thank you so much Leah! I hope you like your package as much as I liked mine! The end of a swap always makes me start wanting to plan another one.

Look was else I got in the mail! I entered a contest on a sweet person's blog. The blog is named *Don't Call Me Crafty*.
I do not know what else to call her other than FLIPPIN' TALENTED! She made this wall quiltlet for me. She made it AFTER she specially hunted out fabrics for me cause she knows me too well. All of the work is hers!! Look at the thrones, cows, stars, horse shoes, and UNDIES!! Look at the pretty panty fabric!! She herself did all of those gorgeous stitches. It was like she knew me for forever. Damn, this girl could make a million with her stuff. She even sent me instructions on how to make it into a pillow if I wanted.

I wish that there was a big block where we could all be neighbors. That would be so much fun huh? There would be lots of cooking, eating, drinking, crafting, showing off and all around good partying.

And you would all be there.

In fact, what can I put you down to bring??? *grins*

MARKED: TOP SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED

You asked me "Where have I been and why have I not been reading your blogs?"

EEERRRRRMMMMMMMM.........*tries to think fast*

Well uuuuhhhhhh you see I have been on a secret assignment. YES! YES that is it!! I have been on a top super secret undercover assignment. I had to make sure no one was following me. I could not read your blogs because that would have put YOU into danger. YES! THAT IS IT! It would have put you into danger and I just could not do that to you! You mean way to much for me. I have had to be really careful and try not to call attention to myself in any form or fashion!

I am thinking that shirt was not a good one to hide out in.

I am hoping that the coast is clear now and I can come out.

Wanna see what part of the secret was?

HINT: The *shop* is open. ~grins~ Please go and check it out and HONESTLY tell me what you think. You will not hurt my feelings. There are not many items in it but I will be adding along to it. I need to learn how to do banners because I am not happy with the one on it. Rachel suggested adding skulls. Are we surprised??? But I do not even know how to do that!

****CHECK IT OUT HERE****

pppssttt...there is actually one more top secret mission that I am working on but I don't want to jinx it. I promise you I will let you know as soon as I can!

And no...it is not about the *baby*.

AAAHHHHHHH..........

It's raining here. Finally! Glorious wonderful rain.....

I tried taking pics of me splashing in the water on my way to work.
Yes I am driving and taking pictures at the same time. Totally dangerous, hazardous, on the edge behavior for me. ~rolling my eyes~ The things that I do for you people.

The rain is making me very very happy.
I am still working on answering all of your questions. That will be a blog post in itself. I will also try to get pics and an explanation of my 72 hour pack.
If you have any questions..any at all....just leave it in comments and I will get it answered in the next day or two.

HENNY PENNY LOOKS UPWARDS AT THE SKY

I have been working on some preparedness things and getting some stuff in order. I do have a 72 hour pack and I am working on stock piling some items. In doing that, I sort of became curious as to what some of you might be doing.

1. I would really like to know what y'all are doing to prepare for the *might be coming* recession?

2. Do you have a 72 hour kit? If so, what all do you have in it?

3. Have you stock-piled anything? If so...what?
