Oklahoma

I got to go to the Oklahoma City Memorial yesterday.
It was better than any Church that I could have attended.

  1. They did a great job with that memorial. I'm feeling like that would be a good thing for me today - maybe I can find something down here that will give me the same feeling.

  4. Because it's a National Memorial, Steve got to be in on some of the process and was there for the opening. We all got to visit a couple years later and were treated to a special tour. I had a difficult time even looking at some of it and I don't think I stopped crying most of the time we were there. It is very powerful, the way it was designed, especially the Gates of Time and what they represent. But the tree got to me the most.
