~drum roll~ The INTERVIEW courtesy of Sarahlynn
I have been interviewed!! ~LAFFIN~ I ran across the most awesome blog yesterday written by Sarahlynn and she was doing interview questions. Well, even though I am shy ~ppssttt.....I can SEE you all rolling your eyes~ I wanted to play. So here I am, answering her questions and playing. And you can play too!!
What are some of your favorite verses to "Wheels on the Bus?"
OMG.....Be Bo's favorite baby song. Well, in the *normal* verses it would be *The wipers on the bus go ~swish....swish....swish~.
But with him, there were TONS of verses and the song became very personal. Some would include: *The Mommy on the bus sing ~I Love Cade....I Love Cade...I Love Cade* , *The Sister on the bus says ~Sit by me....Sit by me....Sit by me* , *The Dads (that is what he calls my Daddy, his grandfather) on the bus yell *Come on in! Come on in! Come on in!*, *The Mamas (what he calls my Mom, his grandmother) sing *There's my boy! There's my boy! There's my boy!* That is such a precious song to us.
You have a tail?
Yep I do and thank you for asking about it!! It is called a rat's tail. My hair is short but I have allowed a portion of the back to grow long. (NOT to be confused with a mullet!! Good law Rach would hold me down and Ester would shave my head). I have not cut it in 13 years. It got really thin when Be Bo was a baby because he would hold onto it when I carried him. You are the FIRST person that has asked me about it.
What is the best part about your job?
I LOVE my job. Especially the people that I work with. SpookyRach works here too. The best part of my job is seeing people turn their lives around and make it. I recently had a girl who was a single mom with 3 kids and doing nothing. She has gotten her GED and a good job and is now going to school like she always wanted. It is so nice to be able to see the real good in people.
What's the worst part about living in Texas?
Where I live it is very flat and windy! ~sheeze~ I hate the wind.
Also, people think that we all wear cowboy hats, belt buckles the size of our heads and ride horses to work. I would only wear a belt buckle that size if it were control top and could wrangle my tummy into an acceptable size.
Where have all the cowboys gone?
~sings~ Where have all the cowboys gone.....long time passing~ ooppss....Wrong song. There are still cowboys!! Not the fake ones that are shown on TV like Big and Rich but honest to goodness work with cows and wear spurs cowboys are still alive and kicking.
That was fun! Thank you Sarahlynn!
