Day 6: Vote

Day 6:  I am thankful that I live in a Country where I can vote.  I live in freedom.  I was lucky enough to early vote last week.  If you have not voted, PLEASE find the time to do so today.  Especially if you are a woman.  Our sisters fought long and hard to insure that we had that right.  It truly IS a privileged.

Teach your children to vote and instill in them that responsibility.

You have the right and the responsibility to cast your vote today.  You always choose to do it in kindness.  Let's stop the ugliness and the manipulation.  Let's quit the whining and the *I am going to delete you from FB if you vote for ______*.  We are so above that.

I am thankful that I have the choice, right and freedom to vote for who I want to vote for.  ~grins~  And I do not have to tell you who it is.

  2. Remember when they started doing the in-school elections for kids? It's a program the state does to teach kids about the voting process and it's importance. Studies showed that the kids' participation helped increase the numbers of voters in the general election. Kids voted on election day, which encouraged the parents to do the same. Very cool!
