That I am indeed weird! And no, this one is not an anomaly. It should not be difficult for someone to follow the contour of the lipstick and apply their lips flawlessly in one smooth stroke.
Obviously it is for me. I bet you all went and looked at your own lipstick after reading this!
Are your lips plumper on one side?
ReplyDeleteThis is funny!!
(love the color)
LOL...no bunny they are not.
ReplyDeleteMine are always flat. I don't understand that whole sword sliver of color.
ReplyDeleteMy one color of lipstick looks exactly like that! My older tubes that have been relegated to purse, travel bag look like the shorter ones. Does your little tip break off eventually? Mine does.
ReplyDeleteSo I guess this means I'm officially wierd too - but I knew that already. My wierd is hidden under middle age plump - lots of people who only know me a little don't see the wierd me.
Dijea....Ester is constantly amazed that my lipsticks look like that. It is hard for her to understand too.
ReplyDeleteYES Mid Like!! Omg! you understand. Yes the tips does eventually break off.
ReplyDeleteAnd your last sentence...
"My wierd is hidden under middle age plump - lots of people who only know me a little don't see the wierd me."
That is so me too!!
There is something.......er, um, disconcerting about this.
ReplyDeleteI use a "wand" type lipstick which would not apply here (you should pardon the pun)
Though I have a very uncomfortable feeling that producing these various lipstick "shapes" as it were, would make one extremely popular in singles bars.
Just sayin'.
Oh PG you are wicked!! *snickers*
ReplyDeleteI didn't. I already know what my lipstick looks like! HAHAHAHA!
ReplyDeleteI'm dying laughing! My lipsticks look similar...a friend and I once remarked how obscenely obscene they looked! Oh gosh, it's so good to know that I'm not the only one with a pornographic tube of lipstick!
ReplyDeleteOh, and once the tip breaks off and it gets all flat, I use a small paintbrush to apply the spackle. It lasts a long time like that!
See...one more way that we are alike Wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteI also use a lipstick brush to get the last little bit out!
LOLOL...
ReplyDeleteOK, that's why I don't wear lipstick. I moosh them flat.
you always make me smile!
Deb
And you always make me feel good Deb.
ReplyDeleteHey, I have some extra lipsticks if you want one!
I think you must twirl the tube as it comes off your lips, or something. That is just weird, Mindy.
ReplyDeleteAnnie maybe I should post a video of me putting lipstick on?!?! LOL
ReplyDeleteMine end up with a big point on one side. I take it off every so often and start over ! ;)
ReplyDeleteFun post!
Mine go flat because I intentionally wear them down that way. I dunno why.
ReplyDeleteMy lipsticks are symmetrical and I swear geometrically perfect. Can anyone say anal? :)
ReplyDeleteThis has been FREAKING ME OUT for years. Seriously. I can't even begin to comprehend how this happens.
ReplyDeleteIt's just...WEIRD!!!!! Scary weird.
I once saw a magazine article on what the shape of your lipstick says about your personality type - I don't remember anyone's but mine & it had to do with a type-a personality: flat topped. That's my lipstick - when I wear it - all flat.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE YOU..........MY MOM DOES THIS TOO!
ReplyDeleteSo funny! Mine is always flat, or it used to be. Have to go and look again.
ReplyDeleteI just read this and have to tell you that several years ago I saw a test in a magazine or something. It showed a new tube of lipstick, and then showed the various ways people's tube shapes end up after a while. There were about six basic ways tubes ended up. Mine end up a rounded flat, no matter how I try to gentry apply...but here is the weird things...
ReplyDeleteThey used it as a personality test. I mean, different personalities put lipstick on differently? IT WAS SCARY ACCURATE. My daughter and I could not believe it. (Hers are never flat. They get pointed, but not like yours.) Now, seeing this, HOW is wish I had that article!
Oops, just saw what Elastigirl said. Ha! I'm going to go find the hidden meaning of lipstick shapes and i will return.
